About NeuroDrive

Lilli Higgins is a licensed therapist and lifelong golfer. The combination of those two things is exactly why this program exists. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Lilli has spent her career working with children and adults across behavioral health, psychiatric, and community-based settings.

When she saw what happened when golf and therapy came together, NeuroDrive was born. 

Lilli serves on the board of the Oklahoma Recreational Therapy Association, is a member of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association, and has been recognized as the 2019 ORTA Young Professional of the Year, an OSU Alumni Spotlight, and a 2021 Oklahoma 30 Under 30 honoree. She also serves as Executive Director of Together Just, Inc., a nonprofit providing free and low-cost mental health services in Oklahoma.

In 2023, Lilli was working with a client she could not quite reach. Traditional therapy was not clicking, but she knew one thing about him: he loved golf. So one day she took a chance and moved the session to the driving range.

That was the day everything shifted.

What happened on that course that day was undeniable. The engagement, the regulation, the connection. It was all there in a way it had never been inside four walls. From that moment, Lilli began building. She developed a structured treatment framework, gathered clinical data, and refined the model session by session until NeuroDrive became what it is today: a research-informed, golf-based therapy model that is changing the way people experience therapy.

It started with one client and one session. Now it is a movement.
